Slated for 2022 occupancy, the building will contain 249 dwellings — 153 midrise suites — and 96 urban towns divided into five separate blocks (not city blocks, but blocks within the 1.06-hectare development). “It will really feel like a cohesive community,” says Jane Renwick, vice-president of marketing and sales at Diamond Corp. Urban towns start from the $600,000s and are sized at 847 sq. “This is a complete community with mid- and low-rise housing on a shared underground parking,” Renwick says. “We want people to feel like they’re buying a ground-oriented home where they will raise their family,” Renwick says.
