The relief will now be given to the farmers of Jalore, Sirohi, Barmer and Pali. For the first time, the government has decided to give mid-term claims to the farmers insured under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance scheme. The relief will now be given to the farmers of Jalore, Sirohi, Barmer and Pali. Therefore, it has been decided that the farmers will be extended mid-term relief. Now as per the directions, farmers of Barmer will get mid term claim of Rs60 crore and 20 lakhs, Sirohi farmers will get claim of Rs31 crore and 38 lakhs while the farmers of Pali and Jalore will get mid-term claim of Rs42 crore.
