The Surface Laptop -- and Windows 10 S that powers the machine -- has been designed specifically for students, says Microsoft. But what really sets the Surface Laptop apart from other Microsoft hardware devices is the fact that although it's made for students -- according to Microsoft -- anybody and everybody can use it. Surface Dial and Surface Pen work with the Surface Laptop out-of-the-box. Unlike other Surface devices, the Surface Laptop doesn't cost a bomb. The Surface Laptop is Microsoft's attempt to show off Windows 10 S and possibly take on Apple's MacBook along the way.
