Microsoft Employees Meet With CEO Nadella To Protest Treatment Of Women

Microsoft employees met with CEO Satya Nadella on Thursday to discuss concerns of discrimination against women in career advancement as well as claims of sexual harassment, according to Wired. It is very painful to hear these stories and to know that anyone is facing such behavior at Microsoft. Hogan said that Microsoft will hold sessions on the week of April 22 to hear from employees and determine actions to be taken. This isn’t the first time Microsoft has faced allegations of gender discrimination and sexual harassment. The plaintiffs claim that at least three women reported sexual assault or rape by male Microsoft coworkers during that time period.
