With plenty of sunlight and no drama, Phil Mickelson finished off a 7-under 65 to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Monday (Tuesday NZT) and match the tournament record with his fifth victory. He matched the low score of the final round while playing in the last group, turning a three-shot deficit into a three-shot victory. He will return to Pebble Beach in June for the US Open, where he made his pro debut in 1992. Pebble Beach was so soft that balls were plugging in the fairway when they landed.
