Authorities said that a boy from Elkton, Michigan, died during the incident which occurred Saturday just before 9am in a rural cornfield in Chandler Township, Michigan. A man, 25, from Pigeon, Michigan, returned to the field at about 9am, to finish harvesting it, not knowing that there was anybody in the field. Powell, an eighth grader, was an avid hunter, fisher and archer. and that he would also 'stand right next to me, look up and give me the biggest grin he could.'
