Michael Schumacher has shown some "encouraging signs" in his recovery from serious head injuries suffered in a skiing accident in 2013. But former Ferrari technical head Ross Brawn said "there are encouraging signs and we are all praying every day that we see more of them". It emerged in September that Schumacher still cannot walk or stand unaided, when the information was disclosed as part of court proceedings in Germany. In August, former Ferrari chairman, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, said Schumacher was responding to treatment and will recover from his brain injuries.
