Kiwi golfer Michael Hendry lifted more than just the NZ Open trophy last week. Following his performance at Arrowtown's Millbrook course on Sunday, the Aucklander saw his world ranking rise from 172 to 118 making him New Zealand's second-highest ranked male golfer. His 54-place jump saw him pass Ryan Fox, whose ranking also improved from 145 to 137, and puts him on the heels of top Kiwi men's golfer Danny Lee. However, this week his had done enough to put his ranking back on an upward trend, moving to 103rd.
