The actor’s son was sentenced to five years in prison for possessing heroin and dealing crystal meth in 2010, according to a RadarOnline report. “There are half a million other people in the U.S. who, like me, will go to sleep behind bars tonight because of nothing more than a drug law violation,” Cameron wrote. Cameron was given more jail time after he pleaded guilty to smuggling drugs into prison.
