What with Pokémon: Detective Pikachu released in May, there is another Pokémon movie out this Summer in Japan, that of Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution and we now have a very nice trailer released for it. We now have an all-new and more involved trailer and the movie looks like it could be promising. It’s clear that Masachika Ichimura is reprising his voice acting role for Mewtwo and that this looks like a remake of the original Mewtwo Strikes Back from 1999. Considering that the original Mewtwo Strikes Back was released 20 years ago now, I get why we are getting a remake. In any case, we will find out whether Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution will be any good once it hits Japanese theaters on July 12.
