The New York Mets awakened from a two-night hitting slumber with four home runs Saturday afternoon, ending the host San Francisco Giants’ seven-game winning streak with an 11-4 romp. He added an RBI single after a Frazier triple in the fourth, as the Mets jumped on Giants starter Jeff Samardzija (7-8) for a 2-0 lead. Joe Panik, pinch hitting for Samardzija, got the Giants within 4-1 in the last of the fifth with a two-out RBI single. Davis had three hits apiece, and Frazier scored three runs for the Mets, who improved to 5-3 on a nine-game trip. Pablo Sandoval went 4-for-4 for the Giants, whose loss was just the third in their last 17 games.
