NEW YORK (AP) — A game scheduled for Thursday night between the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday. Friday night’s game could also be at risk as Tropical Storm Elsa makes its way up the East Coast. New York made it up Wednesday as part of its ninth doubleheader this season. Left-hander Tyler Anderson (4-8, 4.39) will pitch Saturday’s opener for the Pirates, and it’s unclear who will get game 2. Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading...
