MANILA, Philippines – Isolated thunderstorms that caused rain showers over Metro Manila on Tuesday may prevail in the coming days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. ADVERTISEMENTMeanwhile, the low-pressure area (LPA) seen east of Visayas has moved closer, now located 305 kilometers east northeast of Surigao City in Surigao del Norte. Due to the rains, temperatures in Metro Manila on Wednesday would go down to around 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, and even further down by Friday, playing along 24 to 28 degrees. However, hot and humid weather would still be felt in Davao, with temperatures of 25 to 33 degrees. As of now, no gale warning has been raised, although sea conditions near Palawan, Western Visayas and the western part of Mindanao may vary depending on thunderstorms.
