Flash floods are likely to occur in the boarder of Kenya and Ethiopia, Meteorological department has said. In a notice on Wednesday, Meteorological services director Stella Aura said this is as result of heavy rains of more than 50mm/24hrs over the Ethiopian Highlands. "This may cause outflow to the neighbouring catchments in Mandera, Marsabit and Wajir counties," Aura said adding that it will take place from today to May 1. This is following the development of low-pressure systems in the South Western Indian. Cyclone Jobo was forecasted to make land fall on Sunday but it did not.
