The artifact was displayed in the museum since that time.Met museum further explained that the Manhattan District Attorney's office managed to find a valid proof that the museum was given a fake ownership history for the precious artifact.Investigators declared that the art dealer provided Met with fraudulent documents, such as a forged 1971 Egyptian export license.
