The maritime ports in Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been asked to raise Local Cautionary signal number three due to fears of stormy wind. Meteorologist Md Arif Hossain said the coastal areas may experience strong wind due to the low. The fishing boats and trawlers in the Bay have been asked to sail with caution. In its forecast for Saturday, the Met Office said light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by gusty wind may occur in most parts of the country. Moderately heavy to very heavy rainfalls may also occur at places.
