Met Éireann warns of stormy Easter weekend as nationwide weather advisory issued

Met Éireann is warning of stormy conditions over the Easter bank holiday weekend with a nationwide weather advisory in place from Friday. It will be windy or possibly stormy in places on Saturday, and Met Éireann said it is likely that weather warnings will be issued. "Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will gradually move into west and southwest counties, later pushing into rest of the country, accompanied by freshening southwest winds," Met Éireann said. From Good Friday, when the weather advisory comes into place, there will be wet and windy weather, however, it will be mild with temperatures hitting highs of 14C. Saturday will follow suit, but Easter Sunday should be better with Met Éireann saying "current indications show a cool and breezy day with sunny spells and showers".
