A status orange rain warning will be in place for Wicklow and Waterford from 3am tomorrow until 3am on Friday. The forecaster warned that spring tides as well as heavy rain falling on saturated ground and swollen rivers will lead to localised flooding, river flooding along the entire course of rivers and difficult travel conditions. Meanwhile, Met Éireann has said southern and eastern areas are set to remain the most at risk for flooding for the rest of the week.
