Met Éireann forecasts 'good lot of dry weather' this week – and gives details of a ‘north-west to south-east split’

Met Éireann has provided a positive outlook on the weather this week, predicting "a good lot of dry weather" to come. Also predicted by Met Éireann is a “north-west to south-east split” in the weather conditions for this week, with the northwest set to receive the more unsettled weather while the southeast will experience “drier than average”, more pleasant conditions. Monday morning will be mostly dry with sunny spells, but scattered showers will fall in the west and northwest with temperatures of 8C to 11C. Wednesday is forecast to be another largely dry one, though cloudier than the day before with isolated showers. Friday is set to be mostly dry and mild with highest temperatures of 8C to 12C before a high pressure weekend which Met Éireann says will bring more dry weather with sunny spells.
