Mesut Ozil is one step closer to sealing a move away from Arsenal , finally ending his Gunners nightmare. The 32-year-old has been completely cut out of Mikel Arteta's Gunners plans and was not included in his Premier League or Europa League squads. Despite featuring regularly for the Spaniard after his appointment last December, Ozil has not played a single minute for the Gunners this season. Ozil's contract is up in the summer and he has previously vowed to see out the mega-money deal he signed in January 2018. The playmaker earns £350,000-a-week and will earn loyalty bonuses if he stays past the January transfer window.
