The said player, a foreigner, has reportedly resolved to conduct a DNA test to determine the paternity of a baby caught up in the mix. These sideshows have reportedly unsettled the said player, whom we cannot name for legal reasons, to the point his performance in the last few months has dipped. The player is reported to be so frustrated that he is considering quitting football altogether. Meanwhile, the woman in the centre of the controversy is now understood to be having an affair with another player who was recently employed by the club.
