KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) yesterday announced the addition of Auto Commerz Sdn Bhd to its list of authorised dealer partners. The German marque said RM10 million will be allocated in partnership with Auto Commerz for the development and expansion of the new dealer over the next two years. Auto Commerz is an international dealer group backed by the Swire Group, a diversified global conglomerate with interests in property, aviation, marine services, food and beverages, and trading and industrial sectors for more than two centuries. The Mercedes-Benz Auto Commerz Autohaus launched yesterday in Jalan Genting Kelang here is an interim facility with a designed capacity to showcase four showroom vehicles with official Mercedes-Benz accessories and merchandise, as well as financial services from Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia. MBM president and chief executive officer Dr Claus Weidner said the group has 32 dealers nationwide now, maintaining its leadership position as the largest premium dealer network in Malaysia.
