Mercedes-AMG is celebrating 50 years of building potent, fast Mercedes road and race cars with an ensemble of limited edition models, the AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50 the star of show. At the Geneva International Motor Show in a couple of weeks, the Edition 50 and AMG C63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition will share the stand. Only 500 examples of the sinister matte-finished AMG GT C Roadster “Edition 50” will be made, with 50 slated for U.S. sale. For those who occasionally travel four-up, Mercedes-AMG is offering AMG C63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition, limited to 150 copies worldwide. Ocean Blue’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is a slightly less powerful but torquier version of the V8 powering the AMG GT C and GT S, appropriate for a larger, more substantial four-seat car.
