The Head of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Menfi, met on Tuesday at the Council’s headquarters with the Acting Chief of the General Staff, the Head of the Libyan Intelligence Service, the Head of the Deterrence Apparatus for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime, the Head of the Presidential Guard, and the Head of the Stability Support Apparatus. The Presidential Council’s media office said the meeting comes as part of Menfi’s ongoing follow-up on security developments and efforts to enhance coordination among various military and security institutions. Menfi stressed during the meeting the importance of unifying ranks and strengthening discipline, in a way that contributes to protecting citizens and safeguarding state institutions, the media office added.
