Industrious John Mwot scored the all-important goal for Menengai in a tough match that saw both teams raid each other’s territory. On their part, Spotlight had seen off Afraha High 2-0 in the second semifinal match. Menengai booked their semifinal ticket after emerging tops in Pool A preliminaries with maximum points from two matches after hitting Khalsa 3-1 and Afraha 1-0.
