New Zealand’s universities are not immune to sexual inequality and misconduct. Stuff Academics Professor Ekant Veer, Phd student Kseniia Zahrai and Dr Susannah Stevens carried out the research. Zahrai said the #MeToo movement had been an “awakening for a lot of people who have not experienced sexual harassment, or had turned a blind eye to it”.
