Catalyzed by Melvin Ingram's fumble recovery and rookie PK Michael Badgley's big game, the Los Angeles Chargers hung on to beat the Baltimore Ravens, 23-17, on the road in Sunday's wild-card round victory — the franchise's first since the 2013-14 postseason. Baltimore fumbled three times within the first five-plus minutes of the game — including two by Jackson — but only the one forced by Ingram on Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon, was recovered by the Chargers. Philip Rivers threw for only 160 yards as the Chargers' conservative offense was content leaning on Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler and its 'D' against an over-matched Ravens O-line. With one final crack in the final 45 seconds, Jackson's Ravens needed to drive 67 yards for a potential game-winning touchdown. But Jackson was stripped on second down by rookie Uchenna Nwosu, with Ingram falling on the ball to seal the win.
