Melbourne's worrying Covid cluster has grown to 15 cases while 43 venues including the MCG have been exposed to the highly infectious Indian strain, sparking fears of another dreaded snap lockdown. There are now more than 50 exposure sites across Melbourne and regional Victoria, including the MCG. Victoria's Health Department announced Three Monkeys Bar on Chapel Street in Prahran has been added to the Tier 1 exposure site alert. The Indian strain is considered by health officials to be equally as infectious as other mutant variants, including the dangerous UK strain. He confirmed the case is from the Indian variant and said there could still be cases in the community.
