Samples of 10 people, including the MP and his family, arrived as positive from the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing lab in Kushtia on Thursday night, confirmed Meherpur Civil Surgeon Dr Md Nasir Uddin. The MP and three other members of his family have been doing well, confirmed Dr M Reajul Alam, health and family planning officer (UHFPO) of Gangni Upazila Health Complex. Dr Reajul said the MP and his family were kept in home isolation and necessary medical advice is being provided to them. The MP's residence has also been put under lockdown, the UHFPO added.
