Share:Son of Ghazal maestro Mehdi Hassan, Asif Mehdi passed away in Karachi on Monday. The news has been confirmed by Haider Mehdi, brother of the deceased. “Asif Mehdi had been suffering from a kidney disease for a long time,” his brother revealed. Asif Mehdi was under treatment in a private hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last, today. Earlier in April, drummer Arif Mehdi, the eldest son of Mehdi Hassan died in Karachi.
