This is one of those nights, a one-timer, a first-timer, returning Tom Brady to Gillette Stadium as someone other than the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the Patriots. Oh right, that would be Tom Brady. Or did Bill Belichick think, you know, Brady no longer could lead a team to the Super Bowl? A Patriots game against Tampa Bay historically produced tepid interest. One thing’s for certain, echoing the words of Louis Pasteur, “chance favors the prepared.” Tom Brady may have been stung by his Foxborough departure, but in its aftermath he was prepared.
