On the list of good excuses for missing your high school reunion, giving birth to a royal baby is pretty high up. It seems like Meghan Markle doesn’t agree, since she reportedly made it a top priority to send her former Immaculate Heart High School classmates a heartfelt note expressing her regrets about missing the gathering. Daily Mail reports that she “thrilled” her former high school friends with a letter written on official Kensington Palace stationery, which one of her classmates later posted on social media with hashtags #20YearReunion and #Classof1999. The Duchess attended the Los Angeles Catholic school for both middle school and high school before graduating in 1999. After learning about baby Archie’s birth, Meghan’s classmates were reportedly overjoyed for her and understood (OBVIOUSLY) why she wasn’t able to make the reunion in L.A.
