Two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage was the couple's first marital home, located on the grounds of Kensington Palace. Harry had lived in Nottingham Cottage - described as "snug" - since 2013, with Meghan joining him just before their engagement. But Harry and Meghan did not stay in Nottingham Cottage for long, and soon moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor - reportedly to get away from the pressures of life in London. The author of 'Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle' added: "She was away from everything."
