Credit: AIC, Artland, Tatsunoko ProductionsIf you remember, a few years back a wonderfully remastered boxset for the classic mecha anime Megazone 23 was released in Japan. Megazone 23 was one of the first direct to video anime series, or OVA, released back in the 80s. Set over three parts, Megazone 23 is a very influential anime series and I am very happy to hear that it will be AnimEigo’s next project. What’s more, Arcadia is still planning more Megazone 23 related toy releases, after its excellent Garland toy. In any case, if you are a fan of Megazone 23 then it looks like this year may be an eventful one.
