Mega open-air film show marks anniversary of owner's death

Sixteen screens were put up at Thap Sakae Witthaya school’s football field and another at Wat Khao Ban Klang nearby. The films were shown free of charge in Prachuap Khiri Khan and nearby provinces to honour Wiwat Chokkijkarn, a former Prachuap Khiri Khan councillor, on the 100th day after his death. Wiwat owned an open-air film business so his colleagues in the business gathered to remember him in the most fitting way. They said although business was no longer brisk, they would continue showing films outdoors in order to bring entertainment to people in remote areas.
