Steven and Susan Kemenyffy created Raku Place, their gardens, studios and home. Raku Place, an extensive garden and sculpture sanctuary bursting forth with flora and fauna, is in many ways solace for the soul. The sanctuary belongs to a husband-wife duo: retired Edinboro University professor of art Steven Kemenyffy and renowned artist Susan Kemenyffy, whose maiden name was Hale. “I try to send them after midnight so they will be one of the first emails seen in a new day,” Susan Kemenyffy said. One of the recipients of Raku Place images was quick to respond.
