Stephen Feinberg, a private equity magnate from New York City, may soon be the latest billionaire to join team Trump. In a memorandum distributed to investors in Feinberg’s Cerberus Capital Management on Thursday, and later obtained by FORBES, the firm’s executives announced that Feinberg has been holding talks to join the Trump administration. Feinberg also served on the Trump Economic Advisory Council prior to the November election. Outside of politics, the private equity equity mogul has made regular headlines over the past several years. Should Feinberg ultimately accept a role in the Trump administration, he will join an already gilded inner circle.
