Sona is an Indian restaurant in New York's Flatiron neighborhood. She also has designed some of New York’s buzziest new restaurants and hotels, including Modernhaus Hotel in SoHo, American Bar, Saint Theo’s and Sona, an Indian restaurant from restaurateur David Rabin, entrepreneur Maneesh Goyal and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. There are also glowing, arched mirrors and small table lamps upholstered with Indian silks that give a nod to Indian design. Bowers says that Chopra Jonas’ husband, Nick Jonas, actually came up with the name Sona. The restaurant features a gold column, and the chair cushions have a black and gold textile from India.
