Collins became Ward 5 councillor in 1995, while still in his 20s, making him one of the longest-serving members on council. He says affordable housing is the top issue he's taking to Ottawa: "That file is front and centre for me." "It wasn't that long ago that MPs from different parties would gather at the bar after [work]," he told CBC Hamilton on Tuesday. Muys has spent his career entrenched in both politics and the private sector, where he works as a public relations and communications consultant.
