Kiwi Sam Meech has moved into second place at the Laser world championships after a disrupted day of racing in Croatia. Only one race was possible on day two as the wind failed to play ball, but Meech made it count by finishing second to continue his strong start to the regatta. "The breeze was actually fantastic by the time we got out, about 10-12 knots, it was just so slow to come," Meech said. McKenzie is 44th overall but has the potential to move up considerably because he has two good results on his scorecard (fifth and second).
