The Medicine Hat Police Service said in a statement its officers arrested the man on Aug. 15, after he allegedly fled police who tried to pull him over during a traffic stop. He was later charged with one count each of flight from police, dangerous driving, bail violations, possession of stolen property and theft. CALGARY—A 21-year-old man arrested in Medicine Hat is facing fresh charges, including attempted murder, stemming from an alleged incident in Regina. But the following day, Medicine Hat police learned that the Regina Police Service had issued “fresh” arrest warrants for the man. He was later re-arrested in southwest Medicine Hat.
