Aspiring students can apply to sit for the medical college admission test from February 11 till March 1, while the registration process to take dental college entrance exam will remain open between March 27 and April 15. Admit cards for the medical and dental college exams will be given from March 20 to 25 and April 24 to 26, respectively. With the addition of 282 extra seats to 18 public medical colleges, as many as 10,690 medical students can be accommodated this year. Over 72,000 students sat for the medical admission test in the 2019-2020 academic year, according to the health education department. Normally, the admission process for medical and dental students starts from October to November every year, after the HSC results are published.
