Alongside British partner Luke Bambridge, the Queenstown tennis star was beaten 7-6 7-5 in his opening round match at the Australian Open. Just one break point was secured, by Pavic/Soares in the final game of the second set, which proved to be the difference. Pavic/Soares now advance to play Kiwi Artem Sitak and Indian partner Divij Sharan in the second round.
