Nebraska received a commit from Oregon transfer running back Dante Dowdell. Three takes on the decision of the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder. A full running back room with robust competition: NU now sits at five scholarship backs: Ervin, Johnson, Dowdell, Rahmir Johnson and Kwinten Ives. Emmett Johnson held up between the tackles, but needs to grow as a receiver and pass blocker. Dowdell, provided he can block, may get an inside track if he has a big spring.
