Nebraska received a commitment from Hitchcock (Texas) pass rusher Malcolm Simpson. Hitchcock is situated between Houston and Galveston — where Simpson played last season. Sometimes, that’s pass rushing around the corner. Simpson would put on weight — 25-30 pounds — at NU, but he fits the template of what Husker defensive line coach Terrance Knighton wants out of a lineman. Simpson already possesses, in his Hudl highlight film, a strong upper body, but he won’t be able to throw college linemen.
