Since March 23 McDonald's branches across the country have been closed due to the coronavirus, leaving fast food fans at a complete and utter loss. Two weeks later and a feint glimmer of hope appeared on their horizons via Twitter, Birmingham Mail reported. Beneath the red and yellow logo that is scored into so many of our brains was an announcement. McDonald's, along with millions of other food chains, had to shut its branches when restrictions were imposed by the Government during the pandemic. Within minutes of the closure being announced nearly two weeks ago, there were long queues outside many branches as fast food fans clamoured to get their final fix for a while.
