McDonald's, Bud Light, and Steve Madden have emerged as the most popular and most searched brands in South Africa and globally on Google, but this isn’t always due to brand desirability. Bud Light, an American liquor brand, has become the most frequently searched brand online in South Africa, according to a report by BusinessFinancing.co.uk, which analysed Google search data across 135 countries from 2021 to 2023 to uncover the brands that have captured global and local interest.
