Dr. Ibrahim Manu who before the appointment was the Head of Department Economic and Rural Sociology of the University of Dschang for several years, said, his appointment came because of his diligence and hard work of service. He promised to be as hard working in his new position as he was in his former capacity as a university don. He advised the Mbororo community to stay in harmony with their farming neighbours to make Cameroon a peace loving nation. On his part, the Fon of Mbot– Donga Mantung Division, NWR, from where Dr Ibrahim Manu hails, also appreciated the Head of State for nominating one of his sons “Nformi” which he said meant “Charge De Mission”. A name he gave to Dr. Ibrahim Manu when he was born.
