The plan was to spend the night in Kibirichi and then visit his birth mother, Jane Gatwiri, in Timau. Mbijiwe, who is a renowned TV analyst on security and counter-terrorism, has been missing for three weeks now. Speaking to the Star on Monday, Gatwiri said that it has been a sleepless three weeks for her. The family has been quick to respond to any news of an unidentified body, in case it could be Mbijiwe’s but nothing so far. She alleges that she was taken in circles, being told to visit that office and that other one and the next one.
