Floyd MayweatherAtlanta: A bodyguard for Floyd Mayweather was wounded when a gunman in a vehicle opened fire on the boxing great's motorcade as it was travelling through an Atlanta intersection early on Monday, police said. Mayweather was not in the vehicle that was fired upon and was not injured in the incident, a spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department said. Mayweather's bodyguard Gregory LaRosa, who was shot in the leg, was released from hospital three hours after the shooting. After losing the shooter's vehicle, the driver carrying the bodyguard rerouted to Grady hospital, where the bodyguard received treatment for a gunshot wound to the leg, Bender said. Video obtained by witnesses shows Mayweather using the restaurant's jukebox as La Rosa and other bodyguards kept customers at bay.
